Konkur$$in Tradenologia-seikkailu/The Tradenologia adventure

Tradenomit ympäri Suomea kokoontuivat taas Tradenologian merkeissä kiertämään rasteja ja pitämään hauskaa (lue: ryyppäämään). Tänä vuonna teemana oli Freak Show. Tapahtuma oli kaksipäiväinen, joten yöpyminen hotellilla väritti reissua huomattavasti. Lähdimme matkaan torstaina kello 14:00, tosin innokkaimmat olivat odottamassa bussia jo yhdeltä. Tampereelle saavuttuamme alkoivat aika-ajot, jossa sai suun täyteen munaa ja kisajuomaa. Ensimmäisen illan pileet olivat kohtuullisen kosteat ja antoivat sopivasti vauhtia seuraavalle päivälle.

Toisen päivän rastikierros alkoi väsyneissä tunnelmissa, mutta väsymys ei kauaa vaivannut. Rasteilla pääsi muun muassa syömään makkaraa haarojen välistä, jauhomatoja poskelta ja keksejä tamponit suussa. Rastien jälkeen oli tietysti taas pileet baarissa. Alastomuus oli hyvin kova sana pisteiden kertymisessä ja sitä tuli nähtyäkin ihan kiitettävästi. Itsehän emme siihen alentuneet, joten morkkiskaan ei ollut niin suuri. Reissun aikana sattui tietenkin myös pieniä kommelluksia, eikä onnettomuuksiltakaan aivan vältytty. Ruokavalio koostui erilaisista nesteistä, yöllisiä hampurilaisia ja pitsoja unohtamatta. Konkur$$in lippu oli menossa mukana ja se näytti matkan edetessä hetki hetkeltä kärsineemmältä (niin kuin allekirjoittaneiden naamatkin).

Oli loistavaa nähdä tuttuja ympäri Suomea ja tutustua uusiin ihmisiin. Konkur$$i edusti hyvin ja Jyväskylä jäi tiettyjen tapahtumien seurauksena varmasti monen mieleen. Odotamme jo innolla ensi vuoden Tradenologiaa ja mitä se tuo tullessaan… Kiitos Tampereen porukka loistavasta tapahtumasta!

BBA’s from all around Finland gathered once again for the Tradenologia 2011 event. It involved going through Tampere after checkpoints and having fun (drinking, that is). This year’s theme was Freak Show and the event lasted for two days. Spending the night at the hotel made the happening even more eventful!

We left Jyväskylä on Thursday at 14:00, although the most motivated were already waiting the bus an hour earlier. Once we arrived in Tampere it was time for the qualification race, which got our engines warmed up and “sports drinks” flowing. The first day’s party was relatively alcohol-filled and it motivated and gave us energy for day 2. Not too surprisingly we were quite tired when starting the next day’s checkpoint round, but luckily not for long.

Assignments given to us at checkpoints included for example eating sausages from between people’s thighs, eating mealworms and cookies with a mouth full of tampons, of course. After the checkpoints it was naturally time for partying. Teams that resorted to nudity were very successful and it was something that was seen aplenty during the after-party. Naturally we didn’t go that far, so later on there was nothing to regret!

In general the trip was a classical one; minor mishaps and unknown drunken injuries. Meals mainly consisted of certain liquids, hamburgers and last but not least; pizza. The Konkur$$i banner was with us, going with the flow and as time passed, it started to show signs of weariness (as did our faces).

It was superb to see familiar faces from all around Finland and get to know to new people. Konkur$$i had a strong presence in the event and surely Jyväskylä and its BBA’s will be remembered, due to certain occurrences that we shall not cover in too much detail. We cannot wait for Tradenologia 2012 and what it might bring along.. Thank you Tampere-crew for an excellent event!
